Winterfest 2003
The 2003 Winterfest was held in Lithuanica Park on Sunday January 19, 2003.
Thanks to heavy snow during the week and cold weather, this years Winterfest was a tremendous success.
Winterfest included a chili cook-off, burning of Christmas trees, a sleigh ride,
and everyone
having a great time!
This years Chili Cook-off Contest winner was David Rosenbacher for the second year in a row. David prepared an organic 3 bean and beef chili. The recipe is available upon request. Send your request to david@rosenbacher.com.
A special thanks goes to Brian Queely for his outstanding organization and production of this years festivities. He could not have done it without the help of other volunteers coming from within the community.
