ABSR Committees

The Association of Beverly Shores Residents is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1952.  Over the years the ABSR has served Beverly Shores by:

  • Keeping residents informed of issues of interest and concern.
  • Monitoring the activities and bringing the input of residents to deliberations of our Town Council.
  • Under taking projects to beautify our town and improve the quality of residents' lives.
  • Helping underwrite costs associated with town improvements and activities.
  • Sponsoring social events intended to foster community spirit.

ABSR By-laws provide that its activities be governed by a board of 25 directors, a portion of which are elected annually by the then current active resident members.  This Board of Directors meets monthly.  We encourage residents to attend our meetings as part of our effort to include as much of a resident voice in our actions as possible.

Annual (October 1- September 30) membership dues are $35, $45 for first class mail.  Membership includes our monthly ABSR newsletter, Sand Tracks.

Membership is open to residents of Beverly Shores 18 years or older.

ABSR Committees

Most ABSR Committees are open to members of the Association who would like to become involved with the community.  If you are interested in any of the committees, please contact the Committee Chair. Membership on a Committee requires attendance at regular meetings.  Many Committees, however, welcome volunteers for special events or activities. Current committees open to interested volunteers include
